

Partner Yoga is a practice that expands the tradition of yoga into a partnership. In a regular yoga class, students move their bodies while focusing on breath and body alignment; when practicing with a partner, the form and principles are similar but the presence of another deepens the effects of the pose.
Partner yoga is uplifting and challenging offering two people a chance to benefit from the support and the energy of each other. If one partner leans too much, or not enough, both will topple over. Exploring the perfect balance in this intimate dance of yoga is half the fun!
Ultimately, the intent of Partner Yoga is to tune into your body and by so doing connect with your partner. The only pre-requisite is to be open to the experience, have a sense of humour, and be spontaneous.
Partner Yoga is considered a special program/event arranged sporadically throughout the year.
