Private Yoga

Before it became popular with large groups of students in the West, yoga was primarily taught one-on-one, teacher to student.  Honouring this tradition, of in-depth passing on of knowledge, is a refined skill and pure delight!  Private yoga sessions are designed based on the particular need(s) of the student/client. Reviewing details of healthy alignment, conscious breathing techniques, as well as exploring the meaning and philosophy are all part of the yoga package.

Private yoga classes (either for you or you & your partner) can be arranged as one-off consultations, as a small cluster of classes, or you may consider an on-going program of personalized development.  Dates, times, locations and durations are subject to discussion. Private yoga classes/sessions are made by appointment.

Private Yoga Party

Imagine having a yoga class/workshop designed for you and your friends?  Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?  If you organize a group of your friends (6 minimum) it would be my pleasure to create something special for you.  Custom yoga classes/workshops are designed according to the level of your energy and experience. ability.  Gentle or vigorous ~ it will be your choice!  Like all Surround Circle Yoga classes, Kripalu Yoga aims to improve your mobility, build strength, and leave you feeling totally refreshed! 

Beyond what you might know as the physical practice of yoga, if you have a curiosity to explore the wider scope of what yoga can offer you it would be my pleasure to be your guide.  Ideas for enhancing the experience might be to spend time delving deeper into pranayama, philosophy, chanting, mediation/Yoga Nidra or a ‘sample of all of the above’ – let’s discuss!  My hope is that you make this an experiential session and include partner and some restorative postures.

Perhaps you have a team building retreat, family reunion or an alumni celebration weekend coming up ~ why not consider organizing a Private Yoga Party to bring everyone closer together? Although the Surround Circle Yoga studio is wonderful, it may not be convenient for your group. Please call to discuss other possible arrangements. The longer the lead time and more you are involved in the planning process ~ the richer the experience!
