Restorative Yoga  

If you are challenged by everyday stress, limited mobility, menopause, heart disease, cancer or any other health or stress - related concern, you will surely find this gentle restorative yoga class a blessing.  It is a subtle healing practice that strengthens the immune system, calms the nervous system, invigorates and refreshes a tired mind and body ~ enhancing relaxation and well-being.

Restorative Yoga, the yoga of non-doing, focuses on effortlessness and ease.  When the body is fully supported, with props such as a blanket, bolster, eye pillow, yoga strap, and with the use of a chair or wall to elevate the legs, it will let go naturally, releasing deeply held tension, stress, and anxiety.  This process called “active relaxation” requires little energy and yet delivers incredible renewed zest!

Guided Visualizations and Yoga Nidra are part of the restorative experience; inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation.   Be prepared to lose track of time, shift your consciousness, let go of worries, breathe deeply and relax!  No yoga experience is necessary.
